Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and logistics optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum error correction breakthroughs
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to Fortune 500 CTOs and government bodies
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of building scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance strategies
- Experience with quantum hardware from IonQ, Rigetti, or IBM Quantum
- Clearance for DoD quantum computing initiatives preferred
