Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuits and algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and cryptography
- Lead development of fault-tolerant quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for real-world commercial deployment
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum advantage in enterprise applications
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry deployment
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Track record of scaling quantum systems to 50+ qubits with low error rates
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
