As a key member of our Quantum Innovation Division, you'll lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop error correction protocols achieving >99.9% qubit fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Maintain strategic partnerships with IBM, Google Quantum, and MIT
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design and qubit control systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Experience securing federal research funding ($5M+ preferred)
