Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Research emerging quantum hardware (superconducting, photonic, topological) for integration
- Create quantum simulation environments for AI model training and validation
- Drive patent development in quantum error correction and distributed quantum systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
