Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 100+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives with our quantum chip fabrication partners
- Create quantum security frameworks resistant to next-generation cryptographic threats
- Establish quantum performance benchmarks and error correction methodologies
- Drive quantum cloud infrastructure development for enterprise clients
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction, quantum algorithms, and quantum circuit design
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum simulators
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience leading technical teams through quantum technology development lifecycles
