Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research on quantum error correction and coherence enhancement techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum processors
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and publish in leading journals
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum integration
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and quantum startups
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Familiarity with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed quantum research papers
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for abstract quantum mechanical challenges
