Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit optimization and error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems with existing cloud infrastructure
- Research and implement novel quantum gate operations for computational acceleration
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum circuits targeting industry-specific use cases
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create technical documentation and quantum system blueprints for stakeholder review
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems and cryogenic engineering
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects to completion
