Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into practical solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological)
- Define technical roadmap for quantum-hybrid computing platforms
- Collaborate with security teams to quantum-proof cryptographic systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level system programming
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
