Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into cloud computing platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate fidelity
- Author patents for novel quantum circuit topologies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Strong background in superconducting or ion-trap qubit systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level hardware optimization
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, QML)
