Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning and cryptographic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware technologies (superconducting, photonic, ion trap)
- Create performance benchmarks and optimization frameworks for quantum processors
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum error correction methodologies
- Drive innovation in quantum cloud service development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex quantum system challenges
