Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations beyond 2026 requirements
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science applications
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and researchers
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum architecture experience
- Proven track record in building quantum systems with >1000 qubit coherence
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and quantum simulation algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Google, Rigetti)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and RF quantum control systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
