Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical system integration with legacy infrastructure
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with government agencies on national security quantum initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum physics and machine learning
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum circuit designs
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and MIT conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in Nature or Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Clearance for DoD/NASA classified projects preferred
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
