Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms optimizing real-world problem-solving
- Lead quantum circuit optimization achieving 1000+ qubit coherence
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
- Drive quantum computing roadmap aligned with 2026 industry standards
- Publish research in IEEE/ACM quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDK frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting/ion trap)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts to technical teams
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
