Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems
- Create quantum algorithms to solve optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit integration and coherence
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Stay current with quantum research breakthroughs and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing architecture experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Experience leading technical teams on complex R&D projects
- Prior work with quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
- Published research in quantum computing or related field
