Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits and photonic interconnects
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum accelerators with HPC infrastructure
- File patents for novel quantum gate architectures and control methodologies
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum control systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum SDKs
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency in low-level hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing environments
