Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for 2026-era applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum processors with >1,000 qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum machine learning models
- Establish fault-tolerance protocols for commercial quantum systems
- Mentor quantum engineers in cutting-edge error correction techniques
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE) implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit platforms
- Demonstrated leadership in complex R&D projects
