Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize computational workflows
- Lead quantum circuit optimization and error correction protocols for 2026-scale systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with existing AI/ML pipelines
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Create technical documentation and patent novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance systems
