Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, simulation, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with AI/ML specialists
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and patent innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
