Responsibilities
- Design and prototype fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and error correction protocols
- Research and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world deployment
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols for regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or superconducting qubit systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026-scale quantum roadmap
