This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strategic foresight to position our quantum infrastructure for 2026 deployment milestones.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% logical qubit fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ engineers
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum advantage roadmap
