Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence capabilities
- Design hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise optimization problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on national quantum security initiatives
- Drive quantum machine learning integration for predictive analytics
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (10+ years industry experience accepted)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Track record of leading quantum technology commercialization
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
