Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in prototype development
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to maintain system stability
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate operations for maximum computational efficiency
- Research and integrate emerging quantum algorithms with classical computing frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum system architecture experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., QKD)
