Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving optimization problems at scale
- Lead architecture decisions for quantum cloud integration with AWS/Azure platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Translate quantum advantage into industry applications (drug discovery, financial modeling, logistics)
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware
