Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating classical-quantum hybrid workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and financial modeling
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum supremacy
- Proven track record of developing production quantum computing systems
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
