Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish performance benchmarks and validate quantum system prototypes
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and industry standards
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Mentor junior researchers on quantum principles and practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or similar)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in superconducting circuits or topological qubit systems
