Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware co-design
- Research and validate quantum advantage algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present quantum breakthroughs at industry conferences and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or photonic systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure government or corporate research grants
