Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 100+ qubit scales
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum control systems and cryogenic interfaces
- Develop quantum security protocols resistant to post-quantum cryptographic attacks
- Document architecture blueprints and performance benchmarks for quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
