Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processors with 1000+ qubit architectures
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum software stack development using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum control systems
- Author patents and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and circuit optimization
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Prior work with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
- Publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
