Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capacity
- Develop quantum error correction codes achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant hardware
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Define quantum computing roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry requirements
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit designs and methodologies
- Partner with AWS/IBM/Google quantum teams on cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Track record of delivering production-ready quantum software
