Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and qubit stability optimization
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid algorithms
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit capabilities
- Drive patent development for quantum security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences like IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
- Experience securing DoD/NASA quantum research grants preferred
