Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical high-performance computing clusters
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-era data challenges
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Drive quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in Nature Physics/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC/Cloud)
- Experience leading technical teams in agile development environments
