Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead hardware-software integration for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype quantum processors
- Present architecture blueprints to executive stakeholders and investors
- Stay current with IEEE quantum computing standards and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry implementation
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
