Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical cloud infrastructure
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026 security standards
- Optimize quantum algorithms for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum error correction
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industrial development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, surface-17)
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Certification in quantum hardware from IBM or Google Quantum AI
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
