Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit stability
- Develop cryogenic control systems operating at 10mK temperatures
- Create quantum error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting qubit fabrication
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit physics
- Track record of peer-reviewed quantum computing publications
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
