Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography, molecular modeling, and AI acceleration
- Develop error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead hardware-software co-design initiatives with quantum chip manufacturers
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum programming frameworks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
