Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures using superconducting and topological qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead integration of classical-quantum hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations
- Research emerging quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced quantum physics principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum assembly languages
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum system optimization
