Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for commercial deployment
- Partner with academic institutions to publish cutting-edge research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum error correction and coherence techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Experience with quantum simulation platforms (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
