Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for enterprise deployment
- Lead research on quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor interfaces
- Develop quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum complexity theory or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proven track record of delivering quantum computing solutions for real-world problems
