Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in existing systems
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum adoption in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware limitations and optimization techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
