Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptographic applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on superconducting qubits
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum circuit validation
- Lead cross-functional projects with cybersecurity and AI research divisions
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Contribute to open-source quantum software libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 4+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithm development
- Experience with quantum error correction protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQC project)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical stakeholders
