Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for computational optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI systems
- Publish cutting-edge research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, NeurIPS)
- Secure federal grants and partnerships with quantum hardware providers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Translate theoretical models into deployable solutions for healthcare and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (3+ years postdoc)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in quantum machine learning or error correction
- Expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders
