Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen AI systems
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits optimized for deep learning workloads
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects combining quantum hardware with AI frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to co-design optimal architectures
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum machine learning or AI
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
