Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects combining quantum computing and generative AI
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum optimization and AI security
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable research roadmaps
