Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning acceleration
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid models
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Secure federal and private grants for cutting-edge projects
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Translate theoretical models into scalable commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum-AI integration or error mitigation
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($1M+)
- Expertise in at least one classical ML framework (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
