Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI fusion algorithms for optimization and pattern recognition
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with hardware/software teams
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing fundamentals
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants
- Patent novel quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or AI with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors (IBM Rigetti, etc.)
- Track record of securing NSF or DARPA grants
- Expertise in topological quantum computing or quantum neural networks
- Strong Python/C++ skills with HPC optimization experience
