Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural architectures with 10+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional projects in computational biology and autonomous systems
- Optimize quantum error correction for real-world industrial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and secure patents
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 50 innovation partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit/Cirq required)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum annealing hardware (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ research grants
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving technological landscapes
