Responsibilities
- Lead quantum machine learning algorithm development for 2026-era computational challenges
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Collaborate with hardware team to optimize quantum circuits for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry grants for quantum AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers and develop quantum AI curriculum
- Partner with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 50 companies on applied quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing background
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
