Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype quantum-AI solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure and manage $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into scalable commercial prototypes
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and error correction
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum simulation
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
