Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for exponential computational acceleration
- Lead a team of 5+ quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on 2026 quantum-AI standards
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into patentable quantum-AI architectures
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and NeurIPS 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building quantum algorithms with error rates < 0.1%
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record leading high-stakes R&D projects with $1M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum advantage proofs
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic processors
