Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum-AI research roadmap aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-neural network architectures
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants and private funding for breakthrough research initiatives
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into commercially viable IP portfolios
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Represent company at Davos, TED, and IEEE global tech summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (post-doc preferred)
- 8+ years leading R&D teams in quantum or AI domains
- Published work in top-tier journals on quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing DARPA/NSF research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and NISQ algorithms
- Experience scaling research operations to 50+ person teams
